Offices and workstations

Cool, bright light from the first coffee, warmer as the afternoon ends. Meeting rooms and private offices switch off when nobody is in them, and the fixtures near the glass dim when the sun does the work.

Light designed around the product: accent on the displays, even ambient on the floor, and scenes for open, event and close that run without a manager at the dimmer.

// Scope of work

What a commercial lighting project includes.Line by line.

  • Every space lit for what happens in it, with the elements you want to emphasise picked out. Layered ambient, accent and task light, documented as a reflected ceiling plan, a fixture schedule and control drawings your contractor can build from.

    Circadian lighting changes brightness and colour temperature through the day: cool and bright for focus in the morning, warmer and dimmer as the day ends. It matters most where people spend the whole day under artificial light: offices, schools, clinics and hotels. Drag the slider to see the same office at 8 am and 7 pm.

    Staff on the floor press one engraved button: Open, Display, Event, Close. Metal and painted finishes match the wall.

    Scheduling, occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting and tunable-white adjustment on one platform with the shades and the rest of the building. Three ways to run it, for three kinds of people: staff on the floor, a manager in the office and an owner who is not there.

  • Energy-efficient LED fixtures and controls that turn light off where nobody is and dim it where daylight already does the job. In a store or a warehouse the retrofit often pays for itself, and the light gets better in the process.

  • Coves, feature ceilings, wall grazing and backlit surfaces that give a lobby or a bar its signature after dark, on the same dimming and scenes as the rest of the room.

// Across Dallas-Fort Worth

Commercial lighting across Dallas-Fort Worth, from Uptown restaurants to Southlake retail.

Light is the first thing a customer notices and the last thing an owner wants to manage by hand. As a commercial lighting company based in Allen, we design and install lighting and control across Dallas-Fort Worth, whether that is a restaurant in Uptown or Plano, a boutique in Southlake or Frisco, an office floor in Las Colinas or a hotel lobby in Dallas.

Lighting runs on the same platform as building automation, shades and conference room AV, so scenes change the whole room together. We work with your architect or designer on the fixture schedule and with your contractor during construction, and our team remains available afterwards for support and adjustments.

// Questions

What owners andfacility managers ask first.

All questions

What is human-centric lighting in a workplace?

Lighting that supports natural rhythms by changing brightness and colour temperature through the day: brighter and cooler for focus, warmer and dimmer as the day ends. It is built into the fixtures and the control system, so it happens automatically.

Can you retrofit lighting control in an existing office or restaurant?

Yes. Many controls can be added to existing fixtures and wiring with minimal disruption, and LED retrofits often pay for themselves through energy savings.

How do occupancy sensors and daylight harvesting save energy?

Occupancy sensors turn light off in empty rooms. Daylight harvesting dims fixtures near windows when daylight already lights the space. Both run automatically on the control system.

Do you handle the lighting design, or only installation?

Both. We design the layered lighting plan, specify fixtures and controls, install with our own crew and commission the system, then train your staff.

Does the lighting work with our shades and AV?

Yes. Lighting, shades, climate and AV share one control platform, so a scene can change all of them together.

// Start here

Tell us about the space and the hours it keeps.

A site visit, or your drawings, is enough. We come back with a lighting design, a control plan and one number to call.

// Useful to have ready

  • Floor plan and ceiling plan, if available
  • Hours of operation and dayparts
  • Existing fixtures and any energy targets
  • Spaces that matter most: lobby, floor, meeting rooms
None of it is required. A phone call is enough to start.
