The Home Technology Association is the independent body that certifies home technology integrators against more than sixty standards. WH Technologies is HTA Certified at the Luxury tier and holds the HTA Design Partner designation. For you it means one thing: the skill, the service and the honesty were checked by someone else before you ever picked up the phone.
Unlike architecture, law or medicine, there is no licence required to open an integration business. The Home Technology Association was created by industry insiders to change that: an independent certification, built with input from more than twenty-six industry experts, that identifies technically skilled, service-driven and trustworthy firms and classifies them by the size and complexity of project they are equipped to deliver.
Only firms with a demonstrated history of technical competence are certified, because only they can deliver a system that works as designed.
Technology changes and occasionally fails. Certified firms must show a track record of high-quality aftercare and ongoing support.
A history of fair and honest dealing, verified through references, endorsements, insurance and financial checks.

Certification is application-only and reviewed by the HTA. These are the published requirements every certified company in the United States and Canada meets, and the ones we met to earn the badge.

The HTA classifies certified firms by the scale and complexity of the projects they are equipped for, so a homeowner or architect can match the firm to the house. WH Technologies is certified at the Luxury tier.
Tier definitions are the HTA's general guidelines, quoted from its certification standards. Most projects do not fit one category exactly; the HTA recommends reviewing a firm's profile for its actual project range.

HTA Design Partner is a separate designation, available only to HTA Certified firms, for integrators that offer technology consultation and design and collaborate with the architect, builder and interior designer to integrate technology into the home in the best way possible. Only a small percentage of integrators provide design and engineering documentation at all.
In practice it means we join your project early, resolve technology in the drawings rather than on site, and issue the documentation below to your design and build team.
Our aftercare commitments are published on our HTA listing. They are the same on this page, and on every project.
See the full listing, including brands carried and service statistics, on our HTA profile. Membership plans are described on the Support page.
Book a consultation, or verify our certification and read our client statistics on the HTA directory first. Either way, the homework is done.
