Light that follows the sun and your day. Lighting design, control and fixtures for DFW homes, planned together: warm-dim and tunable-white light, trimless architectural fixtures and keypads that put a whole scene under one press.

Open-plan living room at dusk in a warm evening lighting scene: cove light under the beams, lit shelves, a floor lamp and dimmed downlights

// Lighting

Lighting design services in Dallas that make a home feel right, not just lit.

Light plays a vital role in creating warm, inviting and functional homes. The right lighting does more than illuminate a space. It enhances architectural detail, sets the mood and supports every moment of the day, from a gentle wake-up to a restful night. A well-designed lighting plan is the difference between a home that looks lit and a home that feels right.

Design first

Every fixture, cove and keypad is placed on the plan before a cable is pulled, so the light serves the architecture rather than the other way round.

Control that disappears

Scenes like Goodnight and Pathway replace banks of switches. One engraved keypad per room, plus the app and voice when you want them.

Fixtures worth the plan

High-performance architectural fixtures: dimmable LEDs, tunable white and trimless housings that blend into the ceiling.

Lighting design for DFW homes

01

Lighting design for DFW homes

Expert planning that layers ambient, accent and task light. Accent light picks out ceilings, staircases, bookshelves and artwork. Task light lands where you cook, read and work. The result supports lifestyle, work, study and rest with beauty and practicality.

  • Layered plan: ambient, accent and task
  • Fixture schedule and control drawings for your builder
  • Designed with your architect and interior designer
Lighting control systems

02

Lighting control systems

Custom lighting control lets you adjust the ambience of any space to match the moment. Personalised scenes offer convenience, integrate with security and conserve energy. Colour-tunable lights appear bright and cool by day and match the golden hour by evening, dimming and warming for a cosy night.

  • Scenes: Morning, Evening, Entertain, Goodnight
  • Keypad, phone app or voice
  • Astronomical schedules that follow sunrise and sunset
Architectural lighting fixtures

03

Architectural lighting fixtures

Architectural fixtures built for control: dimmable LEDs, warm-dim and tunable-white sources, trimless downlights and tape light that vanishes into coves and cabinetry. Not every LED tape is the same, and we specify the ones that dim smoothly and hold their colour.

  • Trimless, tunable-white downlights
  • Warm-dim tape for coves and under-cabinet runs
  • Outdoor and landscape fixtures on the same control
Circadian and human-centric lighting

04

Circadian and human-centric lighting

Your body keeps time by light. Bright, cooler light in the morning tells it the day has started; warm, low light in the evening lets it wind down. Circadian, or human-centric, lighting builds that pattern into the home: tunable-white fixtures move from around 5000K at breakfast to 2700K after dinner on an astronomical schedule, so the house feels right at seven in the morning and at ten at night without anyone touching a switch.

  • Colour temperature and level follow sunrise and sunset
  • Warm dim for bedrooms and living areas, tunable white for kitchens and offices
  • Night paths at floor level so a 3 am walk does not wake you up

// Questions

Before you call, the usual questions.

All questions

What is human-centric lighting?

Lighting that supports your natural rhythm by changing brightness and colour temperature through the day: bright and cool in the morning and afternoon, warm and dim in the evening. It is designed into the fixtures and the control system, so it happens automatically rather than by hand.

Can a lighting control system be added to an existing home?

Yes. Our 2025 award-winning lighting project was a remodel, installed from the attic without opening the walls. We survey the home first and tell you honestly what can be done without disruption.

Do you design the lighting as well as install it?

Yes. Lighting design is where we start. We produce the layered lighting plan, the fixture schedule and the control drawings, and we work directly with your architect, interior designer and builder.

Which control platforms do you use?

We design with Lutron and Savant lighting control, so lighting shares one platform with shades, climate, audio and security rather than living in a separate app.

Are all LED tape lights the same?

No. Tape light differs in colour accuracy, dimming behaviour and how it holds up over time. We specify tape and drivers that dim smoothly to warm, so a cove looks the same on day one and year five.

// Across Dallas-Fort Worth

Lighting design for homes across Dallas-Fort Worth.

We design and install lighting from our office in Allen for homes across the Metroplex, whether that is a new build in Frisco or Prosper, an estate in Fairview or Lucas, a remodel in Plano, McKinney or Richardson, or an established home in Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow or Southlake. With the walls open or installed from the attic, the process is the same: a layered plan first, then fixtures and control chosen to serve it.

North Texas light is its own design problem. West-facing glass, long summers and low winter sun call for lighting that is balanced with motorized shades and daylight, not just added on top of it. That is why our lighting work is planned with architects, builders and interior designers from the drawing stage, and why it sits on the same control platform as the rest of the home.
